Mitigation Fog Treatment

EnzyCleanse™ Mould Mitigation Fog Treatment

Not every mould concern requires a full remediation.

Our EnzyCleanse™ Mitigation Fog Treatment provides a lower-scope treatment option for suitable properties where full physical mould remediation has not been identified as necessary, or where a fog-only treatment has been specifically selected.

Using specialised fogging equipment, EnzyCleanse™ is dispersed as a very fine mist throughout the agreed treatment areas, allowing it to circulate through the space and settle across accessible surfaces, furnishings and porous materials.

When Can a Mitigation Fog Be Useful?

A fog-only treatment may be considered for:

  • Properties with concerns about fungal contamination but little or no established visible mould
  • Mould-prone homes seeking an additional mitigation treatment
  • Properties that have already undergone appropriate cleaning
  • Situations where a full remediation process is not considered necessary
  • Periodic treatment of properties exposed to high humidity and challenging environmental conditions
Mitigation vs Full Mould Remediation

It is important to understand that fogging alone is not the same as full mould remediation.

A mitigation treatment does not include HEPA vacuuming, detailed surface cleaning, physical removal of established mould, removal of water-damaged materials or repairs to moisture problems.

Where significant visible mould, water damage or established contamination is present, we may recommend a more comprehensive remediation process instead.

Fogging also works best where the treatment mist can circulate freely. Sealed containers, densely packed cupboards and inaccessible areas cannot be considered individually treated.

A Practical, Lower-Scope Treatment Option

For suitable properties, EnzyCleanse™ fogging can form part of an overall mould-management strategy without the time and cost associated with full remediation.

We’ll help you determine whether a mitigation fog treatment is appropriate for your property or whether further inspection, cleaning or remediation would provide a better result.

Why Choose Us?

We use EnzyCleanse™, a specialised enzyme-based treatment designed to break down fungal contamination at a microscopic level and penetrate porous materials — reaching beyond what surface cleaning alone can achieve.

Unlike many harsh chemical treatments, EnzyCleanse™:

  • Contains no QACs or harsh chemical residues
  • Is non-toxic and suitable for residential and sensitive environments
  • Remains effective for up to two years
  • Is USDA Certified Biobased

Mould contamination isn’t always limited to what you can see. Microscopic spores and fungal particles can become airborne, settle into dust and furnishings, and spread throughout a property.

That’s why our remediation process uses a multi-stage approach:

  • HEPA vacuuming to physically remove mould spores and fine particulates
  • Detailed surface cleaning of affected areas
  • EnzyCleanse fog treatment to reach porous materials, difficult areas and remaining contamination
  • Identification of moisture and humidity conditions that may be contributing to mould growth

Rather than simply spraying over visible mould, we aim to address both the contamination and the conditions that allowed it to develop.

Humidity, heavy rainfall, dense vegetation and coastal conditions all contribute to mould problems across the Northern Rivers.

Because we work locally, we understand these environmental pressures and tailor our inspections, remediation and prevention advice to suit the property and its surroundings — not just the mould we can see on the day.

Not every mould problem requires the same solution.

We explain what we find, what is likely causing it, what needs professional attention and what you may be able to manage yourself. Where testing, repairs or specialist services are recommended, we’ll explain why.

Our goal is to give you a clear understanding of the problem and a practical path forward, without unnecessary treatments or scare tactics.
